Crashing Disneyland!
My Dad had knee surgery just before this excursion, so he was in a wheelchair the whole time-but that's okay, because Kyra had a great time chilling! Especially on Monday, when it rained buckets-they huddled together under the umbrella that Jason (thankfully) thought about bringing.
With Emma and Allie getting older, the rides were a lot more fun. Allie was tall enough this year to go on the Matterhorn, which we went on twice and Emma tried the Tower of Terror. She did NOT like it. (Just a side note for all you Twilight fans. Tower of Terror is based on The Twilight Zone. Well, Emma is learning to read and saw that I had the Twilght book. She said "Mom, that is a scary book." "No it's not sweetie. It's a romance story. It's called Twilight, not Twilight Zone." "Oh. What's it about?" "Well, it's about a girl who falls in love with a vampire." She then shook her head in disgust, "I TOLD you it was scary.")
It was a great trip, full of fun and rain! Going on "It's a Small World" just because it's indoors is one of those things that create memories-that and Joan buying 10 bags of popcorn for 6 people and a baby to eat. :)
