No More Monkeys

You would think that having a new little one would be all the excitement that our family could stand, however Allie got other ideas in her head. I'm pretty sure those 'ideas' came from Emma, but I don't have any proof other than past experience. She thought it would be fun to jump on her bed (and as many of you know, she has a bunk bed), she tripped in the covers and hit her face on the rail around the top. Wow! What a shiner. She had to sleep on an ice pack that night just to keep the swelling down. Of course, as our little drop of sunshine, she has to flaunt it and has great pride in showing it off. That's my girl! :)

Wow! That's a doozy! What a huge bruise for such a little girl. Isn't it amazing how resilient kids are though. I swear they are made out of rubber. Way to go Allie for being so brave!
